Service and Leadership Essay - 963 Words
Known to all as the foundation upon which we stand, the helping hands and guiding leaders of our global society are both the worldââ¬â¢s tools for progression towards unconditional happiness. Kindled by religious enthusiasts and community leaders, these aspects of support and guidance are embedded in families, societies, and the future generations. Service and leadership make up the thread of our society. In homes, both parents and children can serve and lead. In the public aspect, advocates of religion, advisors in community service or social mediators for peace all have the ability to support and guide the neighborhood. In schools, educators and peers can both help each other and lead by example. Regardless of how a society functions,â⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦I open up this perspective to my family, so that they may see that service and leadership yields goodness. Through comical relief and consolation I lead, and through values I serve, helping to build up my family for this goodness, the more heartwarming experiences in the days to come. Arms stretched, palms wide open, I dedicate myself to my locals for their needs and wants. I believe that I am created by my God, as it is stated in my religion. In addition to that belief, I am part of my God, and since that is so, I am created to create. In my community, I assist in the creation of environments where locals feel free to accept God and be transformed by Him; as social beings we are prone to meeting other people, and in meeting other people is the source from which these traits are formed. I boost my neighborsââ¬â¢ morale, by telling them they are greater than what they perceive themselves as. In my youth group and confirmation classes at my local church, I am an advocate for my religion. By giving out my knowledge of God to my peers, I enhance their understanding of Him and our religion, and inspire them to live vicariously of Jesus. Iââ¬â¢ve brought out this positivity through performing Christian Pop music, leading in bible study, answering questions about Christianity and bringing peers together in fun activities.
